Climbing Nasturtiums

I absolutely love this idea.
Nasturtiums are my favorite summer flowers whether they are blooming or not as I adore their round leaves too. They are really showing off their climbing ability from a single stake in a rather small pot. This gorgeous alcove is the perfect place for this beautiful photograph. LOVE!

I plant nasturtiums in my garden every year and may just try this climbing idea this year! I never thought of putting them on a trellis.

Mama Pea and Karen -- I have one friend who does this in the reverse. She plants her nasturtiums in a strawberry pot and puts it up high on a pedestal. They droop as they grow tall and spill over creating a spectacular display. I just googled climbing nasturtiums and you must buy plants or seeds called NASTURTIUM - TALL CLIMBING MIX to have them climb or spill over. Here is the link from Pinetree seeds.

Oooh, nasturtium LOVE. Hope my seeds germinate but I usually purchase the plants. May do that anyway. Love this look of height, but also
just love the way they meander throughout other plants in the gardens.
Lovely photos.
